How To Beat Myst on the iPhone in 5 Minutes

Turn left to continue down the path. On the left hand side of the path, you may notice a very faint trail leading into the trees. Head down that path on the left.
You will see a cabin at the end of the path with another box with a lever. Flip the lever up.

Turn around and head towards the water.
Once you reach the water, you will see a box with two valves.

Tap the valves to enter this view. Tap the top of the screen to exit this view.
The valves control the clock on the tower across the water. You need to make the clock display 2:40. The larger gear controls the hour hand and small gear controls the minute hand. To make this happen, click the larger gear 8 times and the small gear 2 times then click on the red button.
A gear bridge to the tower will appear.
Walk across the gear bridge to another box with a lever. Flip the lever up.

Continue up this path to the Library
Now turn around and head back up the main wooded trail past the fountain, to the building with the columns (Library).

The Dock is at the end of this walkway.
Turn right and head down the wood step trail. You will return to the cement walkway above the dock.
Turn left and head back to the dock and to the first box lever you flipped up.

Hurray for secret paper.
Flip the lever down on the first bow you flipped the lever up on. The box door should open and you will see a piece of paper.

Make sure the paper is stored in the lower left corner after grabbing it. Without this paper, you can't finish the game.
Grab the piece of paper.

Hopefully, at this point you know how to get to the Library.
Turn left and head back up the wooden steps to the column building. That's the library.
Enter the center of the library. Turn right until you see the fireplace. Click on the fireplace to face it head on.

It's dark and scary in the fireplace.
Click on the fireplace to enter it. You'll enter the fireplace and automatically turn around. On the left hand side you'll see a red button, click on that button. A door will close.
Click on the gray slab on the door. It will enlarge in your view. Tap on the gray slab to create a indentation.

Make your gray slab look like our gray slab.
This is another puzzle. Tap once to create an indent, tap again to remove it. Above is the solution.
After inputting the solution. Tap the wooden edge of the gray slab to back away from the slab. Press the red button to the left of the door. The door will disappear and a green book will appear.
Tap on the green book to open it.
Atrus will tell you his story. After he finishes his story, click on the picture of him. You will then teleport to D'ni. There you will see Atrus again. Tap on him and he will take the paper you received from the first box. He will tell you more of his story, tell you he will return shortly and disappear. After a few minutes, he'll return. To tell the truth, the guy has a pretty jacked up life.
He thanks you and that's it. You can watch him write all day if you want, or use the Myst linking book to return to the island. Double tap on the book on his desk to use the linking book. We left out the last images out the gamele so you have at least one surprise when you reach Dunny and finish the game.
