I have been using the Mail app for a few years and have managed to accumulate over 25,000 emails I want to get rid of. Is it possible to throw them all out at once?

This smart mailbox will find and display any messages older than 12 months.
Before you delete all of your messages, consider setting up a Smart Mailbox so that you’re not wasting disk space on even the most minor of email conversations. Navigate to Mailbox > New Smart Mailbox, enter a name, and then select “Date Received” and “is not in the last” and enter the number 12 and select “Months.” This will find messages that are older than a year and move them to their own specific mailbox. You can then select it and delete it with the simple touch of the Delete key. Now, any email that’s older than 12 months will go directly to this particular Mailbox.
