Tragedy strikes! You're in the process of recording an awesome take but manage to totally botch it with a few horrible sounding notes. Don't freak out. Take a deep breath and return to the tracks view.

Double tap the offending instrument track and select edit from the pop-up menu. The single track will unpack onto a large grid-like table that shows every note you played represented by small bars.

To change a note or relocate its position, press and hold your finger on the individual block on the grid, then drag it around to where you'd like it to go. You can also tap notes once to bring up a menu with several other editing options.

For a more free-form way of editing you wounded tracks, slide the red note editing button in the upper left corner to the locked position. It will light up all shiny pretty. Don't stare at it for too long.

With the note editing lock engaged, you can touch anywhere on the instrument grid to add or remove notes to suit your fancy with only a single tap. You can also move notes around by pressing and dragging them too.

Once you've finished tinkering with your patient, it's time to sew them up and send them the bill. Tap the Done button in the upper right corner of the screen. Your repairs will be saved, and you'll return to the tracks view screen for more musical mayhem.
