This is good knowledge sharing for Mac users who are new to OS X. Trust me when I switched to Mac from PC I wonder if there is something like a tasks manager in Macs. Activity Manager is the exact thing that will let user know about application consuming amount of RAM and HD memory. Now comes the next thing, which is to get free space out on OS X. Updating RAM is superb while you can run Onyx or Stellar Speedup Mac to get free spaces for your Macintosh HD.
