This is great so I am going to try .. BUT ..

The details in the dynDNS article need updating as the dynDNS page looks so different and I could not figure out which service I needed for Service Type: host with IP address.
Can you show us how to set this up again please?

I'm confused. I set up everything correctly, i port forwarded, and I added an A record with my DNS host that points to my computers IP. I then enabled lion web server and made a website. the problem is, people outside my network cannot connect, but the website works on my local network, even though it goes through my DNS host. its server.compassminecraft.com

UPDATE: it looks like my ISP blocks port 80

Many sites have listed instruction on how to create install media for just OS X Lion. Is there a way to create a full install disk for OS X Lion Server?

I'm a bit confused. I got the static IP address instructions. But what ports do I put down in the Airport Utility configuration for the Extreme? In the linked article you indicate that the port to map between is 9091 for Transmission and IControlbits. But for Lion Server are we to use port 80 for Public UDP & TCP Ports, as well as for Private UDP and TCP ports instead of 9091? So if you weren't assisting us in configuring the server, where would this information about correct port mapping be located in the instruction set up? Thanks.

As the article mentions, you only complete step 1 in the linked how to, which is configuring a static IP address.

As far as the server port forwarding configuration goes, if you have an AirPort router, the server will configure the port forwarding information for you. If it doesn't, you can look up the information for configuring the port forwarding for different services on the PortForward.com website:

portforward [dot] com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Apple/AirPortExtreme/AirPortExtremeindex.htm

Because of the spam filter, I cannot post links, but if you replace the "[dot]" with a ".", that link will take you to the PortForward website for configuring your AirPort Extreme router for different services.

Is there a way to make it a regular Lion installation again? I've realized that server doesn't give you any advantage over anything in a household with only two Macs.
