I'm disappointed. I thought this was going to be a great way to avoid having my cords tangling when they are attached to my MacBook Pro.

For things like USB cables, you could wrap them as specified above, leaving the connectors sticking out enough to plug them into your computer and then into your device.

Please don't do this to your headphone & usb cables, unless your goal is to destroy them as quickly as possible. Use the over-under technique to properly wrap cables, particularly audio ones.
