How to Let Others Upload Files to Your Dropbox with FileStork

FileStork is a free web service that allows you to bypass shared folders in Dropbox. If your friend doesn’t have a Dropbox account or you want multiple people to be able to submit files, you can create an online “file request form” in which the files get fed right into your Dropbox account. An email with the form link can then be sent to one or more email addresses. The recipient will be able to upload the file through a simple web form, bypassing any email size limitations. It all sounds pretty hardcore, but really it’s just an easy way to set up a one-time file exchange without sharing a Dropbox folder.
1. Link Your Dropbox Account and Create a Request

You will log in to FileStork using your Dropbox account.
After heading to FileStork.net and linking your Dropbox account, you’ll be able to create a new request, either a one-time request or a standalone one. A one-time request will allow the recipient to use the form once to upload a file to your Dropbox account; a standalone request, however, will allow multiple uploads from the same form. Pick your poison, then fill out the form, which lets you optionally set a password for the form. Click the Create Request button at the bottom of the page to have your requests delivered to the recipients.
2. Wait and Receive
Your recipients will receive an email with a link to your FileStork upload webpage. After visiting the site, the recipient will be able to simply select files and send them to you. If you selected to be notified when a new file is uploaded, you’ll get an email from FileStork.
