Is there a way to merge calendars from my Mac, so I don’t have to view multiple calendars on my iOS device?
Merging existing calendars is pretty simple. Select the calendar that you want to merge into another, and then click File > Export > Export. Select a handy location to temporarily save your calendar, then click on the Export button in the Save dialog. You will need to repeat this process for multiple calendars. After exporting your calendars, delete them from within iCal by right-clicking on them and choosing Delete.

Select the calendar you want to merge with from the pop-up menu.
To merge your exported calendars into one, select File > Import > Import, and choose your calendar from the file browser. In the pop-up menu, select the calendar that you want to merge the imported calendar with, and click the OK button. The imported calendar will be merged with the one selected. Repeat for each of your calendars, and you’ll be left with a single calendar for all your appointments.
