Got a PDF document that's out of order? Put the pages back the way they're supposed to be with just a few easy steps. Read on to find out how!
To begin rearranging the pages in your PDF (or some other document types), open the document in Preview by either double-clicking on the file or dragging and dropping the icon file on the Preview icon in the Dock.

Once your document is loaded in Preview, click on View > Thumbnails (or click on the Thumbnail button in the Preview toolbar).

After doing that, you will be presented with a sidebar that now shows all of the pages in your document. To rearrange a page, just drag and drop the thumbnails up or down in the document layout in the sidebar. After doing this, your document’s page order will be changed.

To save over the original document with the new page order, press Command + S on your keyboard. If you wish to save the changes as a new document instead, click File > Export.
