How To Swap Out RAM in a Unibody MacBook Pro
Got a need for speed? Or perhaps you're just aching for a bit more power? RAM is a cheap solution for giving your Mac a little boost without having to purchase a whole new system. Better yet, it's really easy to install, too, and especially so in a unibody MacBook Pro.
Need to do a little tinkering? Follow the gallery to see how easy it is to install your RAM yourself.

My ram is showing up as 1067MHz DDR3. Will 1066MHz DDR3 work? It's a MacBookPro7,1

I'm wanting to upgrade the RAM and hard drive for my MacBook Pro3,1 2.4 GHz from 2 MB – 4 MB of RAM and to a larger hard drive. Will I be able to upgrade to a SSD drive or at least a 7200RPM drive? Or do I need to stick to the 5400RPM drive? I will also upgrade to 4 GB of RAM.

I may have missed something as well...but I didn't recall you mentioning how many slots there are. I was under the impression there are 2.
thanks

I did not see the instructions to reconnect the battery. If it is there sorry, I just didn't see it. Hope this helps.
