Dropbox is great for cloud document storage, but what if you want to integrate a few other folders as well? Fortunately, there's a Mac app called DropLink that lets you link your Dropbox folder and an external folder on your Mac. Let's do this.
1. Download and Install DropLink
The first step is to download and install the DropLink application from the developer’s website. This software has a simple Mac OS X installer that will guide you through the set up process and after you've installed it, DropLink will appear in your Applications folder.
2. Drag, Drop, and be Happy

Once you open the application, you will be presented with a DropLink window. Drag and drop the folder you would like to sync with Dropbox to the icon in the window.

A file browser window will pop up. Specify the location in your main Dropbox folder where you would like the symbolic link to be created. If you just choose the root of the Dropbox folder, the symbolic link will be named after the original folder that you dragged into DropLink. When you’re finished, click Choose.

After doing this, your folder will appear as an alias in your Dropbox folder and will begin syncing with the contents of the original folder on your Mac.
