How To Use Visual Basic Macros in Office 2011

So many people have touted Office 2011 and especially the fact that they brought back Visual Basic and Macros in Excel. What I can’t seem to figure out is how to apply “Relational” to macros instead of the default “Absolute.” Not being able to run macros in Relational mode makes Visual Basic pretty much useless for me and I would imagine many others. Am I missing something?
We’re happy Visual Basic is back too. We asked our friends at Microsoft, and they had a quick and easy fix for accessing Relational mode: “To enable the Developer tab, you click the button that looks like a gear on the right end of the ribbon and choose Ribbon Preferences. Scroll to the bottom of the ‘Tab or Group Title’ list and select Developer. Once it’s on the ribbon, click Developer, then Relative Reference, and you’re all set! This is a great tool because it makes your macros more portable and much easier to use.”

Ribbon Preferences to the rescue!
