I really want to check out this Flash-based website on my iPhone or iPad, but it doesn’t work.
Love or hate Flash, eventually you’ll encounter a video on your iDevice that requires the Adobe technology. Maybe it’s a hilarious video or one of those fancy Flash videos your mom loves on Facebook.
If you’re using an iPhone or iPod touch and you want to check out a Flash video, don’t collapse in a heap of Flash-envy—download the Skyfire Web Browser ($2.99). This app loads the Flash video on its website and delivers an iPhone-ready version of the video directly in the app.

Skyfire can handle Flash video, and it’s a swell little browser besides. The haters just don’t know.
If you’re sporting the iPad and you really love Flash games, check out Photon Flash Web Browser ($4.99), which lets you play many Flash games by tapping the lightning icon that shows up when you navigate to a Flash site. And that way, the next time someone points at your iOS device and says, “That doesn’t have Flash,” you’ll know better.
