I really want to check out this Flash-based website on my iPhone or iPad, but it doesn’t work.

If you’re sporting the iPad and you really love Flash games, check out Photon Flash Web Browser ($4.99), which lets you play many Flash games by tapping the lightning icon that shows up when you navigate to a Flash site. And that way, the next time someone points at your iOS device and says, “That doesn’t have Flash,” you’ll know better.

I discovered the Puffin browser for iOS does a great job at handling Flash content as well as Flash videos.

Because the way browsers like Skyfire work, they do the heavy lifting on the server, so that using Flash doesn't kill your device's performance or battery life, eliminating a couple of major downsides.
Anyway, iSwifter is IMO an even better option, allowing not only viewing Flash videos but playing some (though not all) interactive Flash games as well.
