This week's tips are for the iPhone, iPod touch, and the iPad, with some helpful tidbits on how to rearrange your app icons, delete apps on your iOS devices, save website images to your Camera Roll, and how to reset Safari by clearing its cache, history, and cookies.
Rearrange Your App Icons

Simply tap and hold any app icon and all the icons will begin to wiggle and display a white "X" inside of a white circle; then, you'll be able to move app icons around to a different spot by tapping, holding and dragging each one. Dragging the icon to the left or right will allow you to move it to any of the available pages (there are 11 of them) in the iOS Springboard (desktops).
If you have an iPad, you can place up to six app icons (the default is four) onto the Springboard dock. Simply drag the icon you want to add onto the dock and let go. The iPhone is limited to only four dock icons. So, carefully pick and choose the ones you want on either dock because they'll always be available regardless of what page you are on in the Springboard. This is a good spot for the apps you use the most.
Compatibility: iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
How to Delete Apps
Simply tap and hold any app icon. The icons will begin to wiggle. Locate the "X" inside of a small white circle in the upper left corner of each app icon. Tap it, and iOS will prompt you with a warning about deleting the app's data. Confirm whether you want to delete it or not. Tap "Delete" to delete the app, or "Cancel" to back out.

If you are using any of the iOS versions before 4.0, you will be prompted to rate the app. Select a rating of zero to five stars (tap a star to activate it), then "Rate"; or, tap "No Thanks" to leave no rating at all. If you completely change your mind, press the sleep/wake button to cancel out of everything.
Compatibility: iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Save Images While Browsing the Web
If you are browsing a website and see an image that you just cannot live without, then save a copy of it to your Camera Roll by tapping and holding the image. A pop up will then prompt you to select "Save Image. "
Clear the Cache, History, and Cookies in Safari
Note: If you're on iOS 4, you have to quit Safari in the task manager before moving forward with these steps. Press the Home button twice to launch the multitasking panel, then locate the Safari icon. Tap and hold it until the icons in the task switcher begin to wiggle, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign to close Safari.
In order to completely reset or clear Safari on an iOS device, you must first launch the Settings app and then locate the Safari icon in that app and tap it. You'll be presented with the Safari settings that you can change. Scroll to the bottom and locate: "Clear History," "Clear Cookies," and "Clear Cache." Tap each one and answer each in the affirmative to clear all of these settings.

How do you tell if Safari was reset successfully? Just launch Safari, and if the reset worked you'll be immediately presented with the Bookmarks screen, and your cache will be completely empty.
