I shop an online store that requires Internet Explorer. I could use IE 5.2 on my Mac - until recently. Any suggestions?

With this shareware utility you can dupe websites into thinking you're using Internet Explorer for Windows when you're really surfing Safari.
Rather than succumb to the dark side and install Internet Explorer on your Intel Mac, you can actually trick a recalcitrant website into thinking that you're using IE when you're really using Safari. The key is a handy shareware utility called Safari Enhancer (donationware, www.celestialfrontiers.com). Once you download and launch Safari Enhancer, you can select which browser you would like sites to think you're using under the Function tab. In the dropdown under "Safari should identify to websites as," we selected Internet Explorer 6 (Windows). When we went shopping on Safari with Safari Enhancer activated (and set to disguise itself as Windows IE 6), we completed purchases on secure servers without a hitch.
