Image Save From Safari Coming to iPhone

If you've been frustrated that you can't save images from Mobile Safari on the iPhone, get ready to squeal with joy.

 

Happy hacking Gizmodo readers have discovered the new feature. It entails pressing against an image in Safari for longer then usual and getting a dialog pop up that gives the option to "Save Photo."

 

Finally, immediate iPhone wallpaper satisfaction is coming.

Just makes me want v. 2.0 of the software that much more.

I'm going to be seriously disappointed if Apple falls behind on their June deadline...
