Camouflage Your iPad As a NetBook With ClamCase

If you purchased your iPad as a portable computing solution, but have been suffering a wicked case of MacBook Air envy since Apple revealed their new 11-inch wonder back in November, ClamCase could be the solution you're looking for. While it won't give you any of full OS X functionality that road warriors rocking a 2010 MacBook Air, the ClamCase does a few tricks that could make it worth your consideration.
In addition to offering iPad users a full chicklet-style keyboard much like that enjoyed by MacBook users, can also be transformed to work as an angled viewing/touch input station for your tablet and rocks enough protection to keep your pricey Apple product safe from occasional bumps and dings. Better still, the ClamCase has its own internal battery, meaning that your iPad can keep on doing its thing for hours on end without having to sacrifice battery power to run the case's peripheral keyboard.
According to the manufacturer's website, the case, with retails for $99, is up for grabs now, and will begin shipping in January.
