Cannon Challenge
Cannon Challenge makes elevation and velocity fun by putting you in charge of a long range gun with bad guys to blow up. Adjusting the two variables is the key to hitting targets strewn across a landscape even the Road Runner would call vertiginous. Graphics and animations are sharp and effective. Sound effects are repetitive, but satisfying, and if you’re on an iPhone, a quick vibration accompanies each successful hit. With fifteen available shots per level, Cannon Challenge is easy at first, but like a static Missile Command, the sheer number of enemies in later levels makes every shot count.
