panorama
Panorama makes your iPhone open wide, not your wallet.

Many digital cameras automatically stitch together panoramic photos. You just have to take a series of overlapping, horizontal photographs, hit a button, and the camera does the rest. Now the iPhone has joined those ranks.

Panorama is one of the most robust photo applications for the iPhone that does what it's supposed to with a very simple interface. One instruction screen lets you choose landscape or portrait mode for your panorama, and you're off. Take your first photo, and the program allows you to use it or retake it. If you move on, you’ll see a transparent snippet of your last photo on the left, allowing you to easily line it up with the new image you're capturing on the right.

Snap another shot, and you can either hit Stich or keep going. You can take as many photos as the memory on your iPhone will allow. Panorama pieces them together once you're done, allowing you to save them out in a variety of different sizes. The real beauty of the program is that you don’t have to be exact or even close when you line up photos. Once you hit the finish button, technical wizardry happens behind the scenes, and it smooths out edges, aligns photos that are off (even wildly), and edits out mismatches. It works great on outdoor vistas or even for capturing a whole turnaround of a room in your house.
THE BOTTOM LINE
Panorama does exactly what it says, without any unneeded frills. The photos really do speak for themselves.
