A few days ago Pastebud announced that they had created a copy and paste solution for the iPhone and would be launching it on Friday. Well, it's Friday and the service is live.
The Pastebud site allows iPhone users to copy and paste between Safari and Mail. Don't expect to copy your hilarious email to your Twitter client. In order to partake in all the copy and pasting splendor, navigate your computer's bowser (Safari and Internet Explorer only, sorry Firefox) to the Pastebud site. There you will be asked to make book marks of the Copy and Paste page and will be given a super-secret email address to add to your Address Book. Sync your iPhone and follow their exciting instructions.
We were able to copy and paste a few times between Mail and Safari before it seems their servers were overloaded, and the service came to a standstill. Those few times it did work were pretty exciting. "Look at me! I'm copy and pasting!!!" Yeah, it was pretty great.
Hopefully, the service will return before the end of the day and we can give it a proper test drive.
