Everyone knows about what a great place the Macworld Expo is for discovering great new Apple-centric products. Those who have attended the Expo can also attest to how much cash you can spend over the course of a visit to the Expo's many vendors and companies. If you're not careful, you could go in a rich man, and by the end of the day end up a gadget-laden pauper. Fortunately, starting year, visitors to the event will also be able by trading in their old iPhones to e-Cycle in exchange for some brand new greenbacks, making the purchase of new toys a little less painful.
In a press release issued today, the electronics recycling company announced that they'll have agents on hand at this year's Macworld Expo to appraise any iPhones-even damaged or broken ones--visitors to their booth bring to them. Once they've assessed the value of the handset, e-Cycle will name their price and, should you agree to the transaction, will trade your old clunker of an iOS handset for the total value of its current market worth on the spot. If that's not enough to sway you towards bringing your old handset to their booth, e-Cycle is also guaranteeing same-day data-deletion for all of the handsets they purchase at the Expo, giving you a little peace of mind to go along with that fresh wad of cash.
