Verizon Photoshop Goof Sees Droid Running iOS
Stop what you're doing and listen closely. Yes, you're hearing it correctly: That's the noise made by thousands of eagle-eyed tech savvy consumers slapping their foreheads simultaneously in disbelief. What's caught their attention? Oh, nothing much--just a Verizon advertisement featuring an Android-powered Motorola handset that's apparently running iOS.
Photoshop fail? You bet.
As can be seen, the advertisement features a Motorola Droid X handset running Google Maps. Upon closer inspection however, you'll note that the version of Google Maps being shown off isn't native to the Android platform. Instead, Cyber Monday shoppers were treated to a taste of what we iOS device users have been enjoying for years. Given the bile Motorola spewed during their "No Jacket Required" attack ads leveled against Apple during this past summer's Antennagate scandal, we've got to wonder what's going through their minds right now.

can you post a link/scan?
Though Maclife is more trustworthy than some other sites, I'd like to see the ad/website (website is preferable) myself.
I have a hard time believing Verizon screwed up this bad, and it might just be someone looking for some fame.
