wikipanion screen

Wikipanion takes the web interface of Wikipedia, and streamlines it for the iPhone/iPod touch interface. You can scroll through articles, or use the Contents button to jump to particular topics in an article. Links to other Wikipedia entries keep you in the Wikipanion app without launching new windows, so you’ll have to tap the forward and back buttons to read about multiple topics, which gets old fast. The Related button suggests topics relevant to whatever you’re looking at, but Wikipanion lacks more useful features like bookmarks and an easily navigated search history.

THE BOTTOM LINE
Wikipanion is handy for browsing a single Wikipedia article, but it’s poorly suited to researching multiple topics.
