Fear of an iPhone Update: Allegedly, iPhone update 1.1.1 has struck fear in the hearts of the iPhone folks. Concerned users are wondering what the next update will break in terms of third party applications and functionality.
The lawsuits just keep on coming: A New York woman is suing Apple for $1 million in damages because of the iPhone price drop. Dongmei Li claims Apple violated price discrimination laws when it slashed the price. Expect similar lawsuits against the WalMart price-slashing happy face.
iPhone to the Extreme: A sharp-eyed Apple user found the words "iPhone Extreme" within the HTML source code of Apple's iPhone Feedback Page. We were so excited by the news, we slammed a Dew.
DRM for life: Viacom, parent company of MTV, VH1 and Paramount Pictures, has no intention of dropping DRM, according to its CEO. Earlier this year, the company filed suit against Google's YouTube for copyright infringement. So you know they mean business.
Hello Steve, it's me, customer: When you got problems, you should head straight to the top. That's what one Apple customer did when he emailed Steve Jobs about his iMac woes. A representative from Steve's office called him back two days later, offered their apologies and indicated they would be sending out a free iPod for his trouble.
Radiohead gives it away -- almost: Radiohead refuses to place its new album on the iTunes music store because it wants to sell the album complete, as opposed to individual tracks. Instead, the band is selling the album on it's website, for whatever price you want to pay. Touché Radiohead.
And Finally: Hey look, "Family Guy" is available on iTunes. Imagine how great it would look on your iPhone.
