In iTunes, songs start playing before the current one has finished? How can I fix it?
Oh, that's a feature!
Although Apple calls it Crossfade Playback, we call it annoying.
Turn it off via iTunes > Preferences, selecting the Playback pane and unchecking the box next to Crossfade Playback.
