Mac Book and iMac Firmware Updates

Apple has released a plethora of Mac firmware updates. The updates promise to improve the stability of the Mac Book, Mac Book Pro, Mac Book Air and iMac.

 

If you're unsure of the firmware process, Apple has a support document here. You know you've done it right when your machine emits a loud beep.

i just did this update...simple question, what exactly does it change or do?

Apple just has the vauge "improves stability" line they use everytime something is updated. So far on my machine, it's fixed an external monitor issue I was having. If anyone else notices a change for the better, drop your info here in the comments.
