MacBook Air SuperDrive Hack
The MacBook Air SuperDrive has one giant flaw. It only works with the MacBook Air.
tnkgrl Mobile decided to fix the MBA SuperDrive by replacing the custom firmware IDE to USB bridge, with an off-the-shelf $9 IDE to USB bridge.
The result, an untethered MBA SuperDrive. While we can't approve of the use of the SuperDrive on a HP Mini-Note, the actual hack and attaching it to a Mac mini gets the *Mac|Life seal of approval.
