The Computer Choppers have created the worlds first 24kt Gold and Sapphire MacBook Air. The obvious Earth Day stunt is sure to remind us all that recycling our precious metals and gems should always be at the forefront of our minds.

 

Reduce, reuse, and recycle people.

Platnum or Silver would look way better. Gold clashes with the UI and should be put on a Windows PC.

Okay, I'm going to go against the flow here and say that I actually think that's pretty cool. Excessive, maybe, but I wouldn't mind carrying that beautiful thing around with me, though I would worry about scratches like crazy.

Couldn't they put a vinyl roof top on there somewhere too? How about a license plate with a chain border around it?
