New Eight Core MacPro Available Now
We don't have to wait for the Mac Expo for new MacPros. Apple released the new 8-core workhorses, with a starting price of $2,799, today.
The machine possess the latest Quad-Core Intel Xeon 5400 series processors based on the 45nm Intel Core microarchitecture running up to 3.2 GHz, each with 12MB of L2 cache per processor. That means fast in computer speak.
They also get the new PCI Express 2.0 graphics slot and can be stocked with 32GB of 800 MHz DDR2 ECC FB-DIMM memory. Perfect for intense video projects or a game of Guitar Hero III.
The new MacPros are available now, at Apple's online store.

I'm glad that the Mac Pros finally got updated. Plus, I am already excited about the new chips they are putting in there. I probably will not need the 3.2 GHz top speed, but it is fantastic that this computer can do that. (And my former co-worker said that Apples are what got Adam and Eve kicked out of Eden. HOW WRONG HE WAS!)

How are these 8800 gt cards, are they gona let me run crysis and lots of new games for the future or merely adequate. Can we throw in 2 of them somehow?
