When I open Sherlock I get "Error 1000, not connected to the Internet." But I am. What port do I need to open?

We gave up on Sherlock when Mac OS 10.2 shipped with few or no functioning channels. Not to mention the conspicuous lack of any Sherlock pimping on Apple’s OS X Web pages. But Sherlock rocks on, still using the always-open, Web-friendly port 80 - so that’s not likely it. Try repairing your disk permissions: In Disk Utility, select your boot drive and click and Repair Disk Permissions under the First Aid tab. If that doesn’t fix the problem, try deleting all of the numbered folders in /Users/username/Library/Caches/Sherlock/WebFoundation, and these three items in /Users/username/Library/Preferences: com.apple.sherlock.plist, com.apple.WebFoundation.plist, and the folder Sherlock.
