iPhone 5 Rumor: At the Bar Again
There is something fabulous about the "I left my secret phone at the bar!" story, right? Last time, there was lot of hearsay, along with pics of the new phone. This time around, there's still plenty of drama, with Apple employees possibly impersonating police officers and stuff, but alas, no new pics of the device. Yet.

iPhone 5 Rumor: Coming to Sprint
Although this doesn't carry the same obsessive nature as the Verizon rumors of the last five years, having the iPhone available on Sprint is a big deal to a lot of people. Mostly, to people who are Sprint customers and currently only get to choose from Android phones.

iPhone 5 Rumor: CDMA and GSM
The "world phone" iPhone, capable of working on either GSM (AT&T) or CDMA (Verizon) networks. It makes Cupertino-sense to manufacture one model which can then be sold anywhere in the world. The chip capable of pulling this off is readily available, and from manufacturers Qualcomm, who already provides the baseband for the CDMA iPhone 4 model.

iPhone 5 Rumor: 4G LTE
Based on some alleged secret screen shots of .plist files squirreled away from carrier testing sites, this rumor suggests that the next iPhone will be able to play on the much faster 4G data network. Well, to pull this off, Apple would have to be installing new LTE hardware in their stores to enable this feature. oh wait...

iPhone 4S Rumor: Free iCloud iPhone
And then there was the iPhone 4S. Or something. The rumors are flying in from around the world that the next iPhone release will come with a sidecar, lower priced model. This rumor suggests it will free and without significant storage, pulling all content from iCloud. Better be a big cloud.

iPhone 4S Rumor: Casing Like iPhone 4
More support for a 4S model, suggesting that basically the same case will be used, but it will sport two antenna breaks within the bottom of the casing instead of two on the left side (AT&T) or two on the top sides (Verizon). This modified casing also seems to have a slot for a SIM card.

iPhone 4S Rumor: Antenna
And some more spy shots of the alleged iPhone 4S body and antenna design, also supporting a SIM card slot. These shots are extra secret because of the "confidential" stamp plastered all over them.

iPhone 4S Rumor: Body Prototype
This alleged iPhone 4S body shot supports an A5 processor, antenna redesign, and possibly even support for T-mobile. This shot may also support the "N94" reference found in the iOS 5.0 SDK earlier this year. At this point, we'd be more surprised if some kind of iPhone "lite" didn't come out next month.

iPod touch Rumor: White is Coming
Fall is traditionally the time of the year we get new iPods, but as Apple prepares to give us the next iPhone(s), maybe the iPod is going to lie low for a while. Last year's iPod touch did get a major overhaul, so what about maybe just a new color? Now everything might be black and white after all.

iPad Rumor: No Retina Display in 2011
Lots of summer rumors about an iPad 3/iPad Pro coming out this fall with a Retina display. Honestly, we thought it kind of crazy, with iPad 2 only a few months old. Now rumors suggest the rumored iPad will miss its rumored fall launch because of a problem with a rumored feature. Even crazier. Maybe next year? Right now, it's all rumored.

iOS 5 Rumor: Voice Assist
As much as we want the new devices, the touted iOS 5 software has many of us breathlessly waiting for Cupertino make our existing devices even cooler. This rumor suggest the new mobile OS will have a voice-activated assistant able to tap into your address book, email, calendars, phone application, and possibly be able to open links. We say "yes please" to that!
