If you don't need the full power of Adobe's Photoshop or Premiere Pro software, Elements is a great, inexpensive way to focus on the basics -- and they're now better than ever thanks to all-new versions.
Adobe has announced the immediate availability of Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 and Adobe Premiere Elements 11, bringing all-new features to the company's consumer-centric photo and video editing software packages.
Photoshop Elements 11 features a completely refreshed, user-friendly interface that uses the same engine found in the more expensive Adobe Photoshop, offering Quick, Guided and Expert editing modes, a host of one-click options and big, bold icons to help users get the most from their shots.
Premiere Elements 11 promises to take the work out of video editing, with an entirely new and improved user interface that will instantly be familiar to anyone using the companion Photoshop Elements 11. Videos can be given Hollywood-style "FilmLooks" and polished off with great-looking effects, transitions, themes, titles and even output to disc with slick menus.
Available for both Mac and Windows, Elements 11 can be purchased together in a low-priced bundle for $149.99 ($119.99 upgrade) or individually for $99.99 each or as upgrades from previous versions for $79.99 each. Photoshop and Premiere Elements 11 are available today from Adobe's website and will be available soon as retailers everywhere.
