Adobe Drops PowerPC Support in Future CS

The clamshell iBooks are pretty and all, but it may be time to upgrade to a fancy new unibody MacBook. After Apple announced Snow Leopard would no longer support PowerPC macs, Adobe has now released a support document that says future versions of the Creative Suite won’t support PowerPC either.
Say goodbye to universal binaries, everyone is moving to Intel. This is a shame for people who bought expensive PowerMacs before they were deprecated, but honestly, the death warrant was signed as soon as Apple made the deal with Intel. It’s only a matter of time before other developers hit force quit on PowerPC support as well.
