Adobe told Macworld that it will not have an exhibit booth at this year's Macworld Expo 2009. Adobe, a leading developer of Mac software, confirmed Tuesday that it will be absent from the floor at this years Expo and will only provide education sessions with Adobe representatives. No word on where those sessions will take place.
Adobe traditionally has a large booth at Macworld, usually second only to Apple in size, and uses its presence to introduce new products and show consumers in classroom-style presentations the many uses of its software.
"Adobe has decided to shift its focus at the Macworld trade show this year," the company said in a statement given to Macworld. "Macworld is a valuable industry show and we will still be an active part of it with members of our product team involved in Macworld tracks, including a full day of CS4 demo sessions with Adobe evangelists on Wednesday, January 7."
Adobe recently began shipping Creative Suite 4.
"The Mac community is very important to us and we will continue our strong support for this platform,' Adobe said in its statement.
