Adobe Promises a Better Flash Experience for Mac Users
Flash has been the bane of many Mac users over the past few years, but Adobe's CTO says that the company is committed.
Kevin Lynch, Adobe's chief technical officer, said in a statement on the Adobe blog that Flash 10.1 will bring a better Flash experience to Mac users.
"Addressing crash issues is a top priority in the engineering team, and currently there are open reports we are researching in Flash Player 10. From the comments across the web there may either be an upswing in incidents or there is a general piling on happening -- we are looking into this actively and will work to resolve any real issues," Lynch said.
Steve Jobs has been quoted saying some interesting things about Adobe in a recent employee town hall meeting about the iPad.
Is this Adobe's attempt to flatter Apple after Steve Jobs rejected Flash once again on another of its mobile platforms, the iPad? Probably, but one thing is almost certain now: Regardless if we get Flash on the iPad or not, Adobe will be making the Mac Flash experience a better one.

Announcing the Preview of GfxEditor – The most powerful graphics application on the Internet, developed using Flash 8:
http://www.gfxeditor.com
With all this negative talk in the media lately, about how Flash is “Dying” and that it’s “An old technology” (Said by Steve Jobs, Apple), this shows that Flash is most certainly not dying. It would not be possible to create this application with any other web-based technology.
You can go to the website right now and checkout videos of this amazing application that I have made. You can also signup for an account, see some nice artwork on the gallery and post comments on the blog.
The launch date is set for the 1th of May 2010.
GfxEditor enables you to create graphics much faster, a lot easier and for many purposes. The most important ingredients are built into the application: Advanced tools for page layouting, drawing, imaging and printing on merchandise. No other graphics editor has this kind of integration.
Please spread this news to everybody you know.
Thank you.

Some investment management firms also have more speculative specialist currency overlay operations which manage clients currency exposures with the aim of generating profits as well as limiting risk.

These patterns, if they must be careful in their descriptions and effective, must take several aspects of construction into account and must be clear, concise and user friendly.

I for one am tired of not getting flash on the iPhone. I will not purchase an iPad for that reason. They need sued for saying full browsing on a mobile device. Steve just needs to Buy Adobe and be done with it. Problem solved.....

ClickToFlash FTW! With HTML5 on the way, and sites like YouTube and Vimeo already using it to serve up video, I see Flash dying a slow, painful death.

.. to see Flash fade away. But the idea of a better running Flash is certainly welcome. Like most of us, I do fairly routinely see either Firefox or Safari wig out for no discernible reason. And even this very page... a half dozen flash based ads loaded in and ran before the page content resolved.
The SPAMbot above commented that he/it "not often use Adobe"... LOL. But bizarre as that is, some truth to the (fake) comment. With Apple's pursuit of the genereal computing consumer, less of Apple's Market is dependent on Adobe's apps. But just about anyone who surfs the web, does indeed use Flash, currently an Adobe technology.
However, I am a Graphic and Web Designer, and I am hostage to Adobe Creative Suite to be professionally relevant. And while you can do many neat things in Flash, it is a PAIN IN THE ASS for visual thinkers to use. You have to be a motion graphics designer to render the graphic ideas, but also an very right brain object oriented programmer to make Flash projects DO anything. Actionscript 3? Adobe, what the HELL? Both skill sets in the same skull are rare. But still, It would be nice if Flash was easier to USE for Content creators and Creative Pros.
Back on the consumer side, despite talk of HTML 5, and Steve's current hostility to Flash on the iPhone and iPad, I don't think it's going anywhere for a while. It's still very pretty tech, and the market has been shown to rather like bright shiny objects.

I think we would first see iWork run on Windows before Flash works on a Mac

I'll believe that when I see it.
Why can't Apple design an alternative?

I have had Flash Block installed for years, much faster browsing. The only thing I notice missing are some intro pages to web sites and occasionally a pure Flash site, which is really annoying. YouTube is still flash...too bad.
