Alarm Bug Still Causing Mischief
As we first made mention this morning, and perhaps as you may have experienced first hand for yourself now, the iOS alarm clock bug has caused some headaches for embarking into 2011. While Apple had tried to reassure that alarms would function beginning today, such does not seem to be the case, as users are still reporting issues.
According to Reuters:
Some iPhone users across the globe complained of malfunctioning alarms on the first working day of 2011, even after Apple reassured users that its phones' built-in clocks will work from Monday.
Bloggers, as well as Facebook and Twitter users, complained they missed flights or were late to arrive at work as the alarm built into Apple's iPhone failed to go off for a third straight day for some users.
MacRumors also reports that Apple still has not offered an updated response to what has been going on with the alarm feature as of today, and it is still unclear why some users are still experiencing the bug, which affects the non-recurring alarms.

A non-recurring alarm I had set for yesterday (03 Jan) failed. But today (04 Jan) a new non-recurring alarm worked fine. Maybe Apple was just off by a day on when it would correct...

Yes! My two alarms I had set did not go off at all, I turned them off when I woke up so I do not know if they would have gone off later.
