As if there weren't already enough sites to satiate your desire for a deal, online retail giant Amazon is entering the game with their own daily deals site called AmazonLocal. The service is an online marketplace that works just like Groupon, LivingSocial and Bloomspot: Buy a deal, redeem it soon thereafter and bask in the warm glow of saving $20 on a pedicure.
Oh, but here's the kicker. Amazon isn't just offering daily deals -- it's partnering with other companies to source deals for its customers. If a deal looks familiar, that's because companies like LivingSocial is actually providing them.
Amazon Visa holders will also get some special treatment from AmazonLocal: until December 31, users can earn 5 points for every dollar they spend at AmazonLocal, after which it'll only be 3 points. The more stuff you buy, the more chance you have of getting it for free (as opposed to having to suggest to five friends that the deal is worth their dime).

I tried signing up for the service, but it only defaults to Boise, Idaho at this time. So, if you're in Boise, you might consider subscribing to AmazonLocal today. You never know--you might get half off that facial you've always wanted.
