Analyst Claims September Release of New iPod touch, iPod nano & MacBook Air Models

A new analyst report claims that Apple could release new products in September. Among the new refreshes are a new iPod touch, new iPod nanos, and two new models of Apple's ultra-portable MacBook Air notebook. There have been multiple rumors surrounding a new iPod touch with a FaceTime camera, complementing Apple's ever changing product lineup.
According to Barron's, BMO Capital analyst Keith Bachman believes that the new iPod nano will do away with the physical click wheel and be much smaller, and that Apple could eventually do away with the iPod shuffle. Additionally, Apple could ship 9.2 million to 9.7 million iPods for the quarter ending in September.
Bachman also believes that Apple will indeed launch two versions of its MacBook Air. At least one rumor has surfaced suggesting the company could be working on an 11.6" version of the MacBook Air, but Bachman doesn't have any specifics about the potential new notebook.
"We are not yet clear on all the specs, but supply chain checks suggest that unit shipments of the new Air products could far exceed the current Air, which we believe could suggest lower starting prices," he writes.
He also notes demand for the iPhone 4 isn't slowing down any despite Antennagate, with Apple quoting a three week delivery time for new shipments.

You can expect a new release/update from Apple every year just like you can bank on students returning to school in the fall. This is nothing new; except for the MacBook Air, that could do with some update love.
