Are you a new developer anxious to see how many apps you've sold on your first day of sales in the iTunes App Store? If your answer was yes, then today is your day! Apple has released iTunes Connect Mobile an iPhone and iPod touch app that allows developers to view the statistics about their app sales while away from their computer.
The iTunes app store has grown from the measly 50,000 apps, about this time last year, to a massive selection of apps topping 250,000 today. Apple's new app makes it a lot easier for new and old developers to track the sales statistics for all the apps they are selling in the App store. The app displays the sales information by day, week, month (5 weeks), and 6 months (26 weeks) and includes graphs showing unit sales. If the app is available in more than one market then the sales information for each of those can be displayed.
So, what are you waiting for? Registered iOS developers can download their copy of iTunes Connect Mobile for free from the App Store now.
(Note: If you discovered this new app before reading this post be sure to check the App Store for an update. Apple released a second version a few hours after the first due to login problems for some iTunes Connect users.)
