AOL--well, now known as Aol--has undergone a major indentity change, one that is "uniquely dynamic."
Beginning December 10th, the company will unveil its new look, as well as its new found freedom after escaping the clutches of Time Warner. “Our new identity is uniquely dynamic," says Tim Armstrong, Chairman and Chief Executive of the new Aol. "Our business is focused on creating world-class experiences for consumers... We have a clear strategy that we are passionate about and we plan on standing behind the AOL brand as we take the company into the next decade."
Aol hired "global brand and innovation consultancy" Wolf Olins to design the logos. The new AOL features a capital "A" lowercase "o" and "l" and a period, with background images such as a goldfish, "metal hands", and a squiggly green blob.
