Aperture 3.0.1 Software Update Now Available

Apple released an integral software update for Aperture 3 this afternoon, which should improve overall stability and address a number of pressing issues in the latest build of the popular photo managing software.
The new update addresses the following issues:
- Upgrading libraries from earlier versions of Aperture
- Importing libraries from iPhoto and a directly from a camera
- Memory usge when heavily touching up photos
- Face recognition processing and adding undetected faces with the "Add Missing Face" button
- Printing pages with multiple images and photos and contact sheets with borders and metadata
- Editing photos with an external editor, such as Photoshop
- Display of images with Definition and Straighten adjustments applied
- Zooming photos in the Viewer and in the Loupe using keyboard shortcuts
- Accessing Aperture libraries on a network and moving oins on the Places map
- Adding and editing custome locations with the Manage My Places window
- Switching between photo types when working with RAW and JPEG pairs
