Looks like Apple is really showing some love to iOS users this Valentine's Day with one of the best free App of the Week deals yet, plus some minor updates to Skype and iMovie for iOS.
It's Thursday, and that means a new App of the Week from Apple! This one is particularly special, since it's never before been offered free -- so grab it during the next six days before the price goes back up!
We speak, of course, of Infinity Blade, the epic mobile sword fighting game developed exclusively for iOS. "Love is in the air, and so are swords, axes, hammers and scythes! Celebrate Valentine’s by enjoying the Must-Have iOS Blockbuster for FREE!" the updated app description reads.
If that's not enough, Apple has updated iMovie for iOS to version 1.4.1 this week, a modest bump that improves reliability when sending photos from iPhoto, resolves an issue affecting photos in projects and trailers after they've been restored from a backup and improves overall stability.
Still not enough Valentine's Day love? Skype has pushed out a version 6.2 update for its Mac client which adds eGifting for sending Skype credit on a user's birthday, as well as the ability to send one-way SMS text messages without having to first add and verify your mobile number.
