We mentioned the possibility of Apple adding matte screen options to more
Macs a few weeks ago, but today they actually gave us a matte display
option on the 15-inch MacBook Pros. When you custom configure a 15" MacBook Pro on the online store, you'll now have the option to add a $50 "anti-glare widescreen display" that replaces the black-bezzled glossy screens currently found on MBPs.
Apple started the switch over to the glossy screens just over two years ago and they haven't looked back since. This new move to adding a non-glossy option to your beloved Mac is a nice move and we can't wait to see which Mac will be next in line to get this option.
