Apple App Store Decides Tweetie 1.3 Is F'n Golden After All

Just as fast as the App Store rejected the Tweetie update, Apple changed its mind and made Tweetie 1.3 available for download once
again.
The problem arose when the Twitter client was initially rejected for violating terms of submission to the App Store which states that "Applications must not contain any obscene, pornographic, offensive, or defamatory content or materials of any kind (text, graphics, images, photographs, etc.), or other content or materials that in Apple's reasonable judgement may be found objectionable by iPhone or iPod touch users." It is believed that Apple's decision was based in the fact that the app allows access to a section called Twitter Trends - which does not censor words that might be considered obscene.
The Tweetie 1.3 update includes a few minor changes, such as a dark theme, picture uploads through yfrog and Mobypicture, and integration of Ping.fm, Tweetshrink and Twitlonger. German and Russian language versions are also available. The app is currently available for $3.
