Apple Corporate Laptop Sales on Verge of Increase Despite Windows 7 Release
While many of you probably still have Windows XP on your work computers, or perhaps have changed to Windows 7, many employers are on the verge of changing to Macs, a new survey has found according to AppleInsider.
The survey shows that Apple's corporate Mac sales will go unfazed by Microsoft's latest release of their Windows system. ChangeWave's latest corporate IT spending survey revealed that 10 percent of companies are planning on buying Mac laptops in the first quarter of 2010. This results in a new high for Apple which was up from 9 percent in August.
Seven percent of the respondents also said they intend to buy a Mac desktop in the first quarter of 2010.
The study was via the ChangeWave Alliance Research Network, a group comprised of 25,000 business, tech and medical professionals, who were said to work in the leading companies of various industries. The survey covered 1.753 corporate buyers.
