This current quarter could be Apple's finest moment, according to an analyst that believes Apple could make up to $15 billion, beating other analyst expectations by $1 billion. It seems like Apple is on a roll with iPad sales, iPhone 4 preorders, Mac sales, and the elusive iPod (does anyone remember those things?). These factors, coupled with iTunes, sales could be making Apple a pretty nice cash stockpile.
Analyst Andy Zaky writes, "I am looking for Apple to produce $1.950 billion in iPad Revenue, $3.906 billion in revenue from Mac sales, $1.6 billion in iPod sales, $5.58 billion from iPhone Sales, and a total of about $2.335 billion in revenue from iTunes, Software & Peripherals."
If you add that all up, you come up with around 15.371 billion worth of sales.
Of interest, however, is that Apple announced today that the iPad has sold 3 million units in only 80-days. That's quite an astonishing record. Apple isn't stopping there either, because Steve Jobs announced today that, "[Apple is] working hard to get this magical product into the hands of even more people around the world, including those in nine more countries next month."
