While Apple goes on and on and how great OS X is and how Windows is inferior to it, buying products at the Apple Store meant you've been rung up with a WinMo device running the EasyPay system. You almost feel dirty when they print out the receipt for you and you see Windows on the screen. So very dirty...

POS is a common industry term for Point of Sale devices. However I have more than once complained about the POS being a POS.

I think MacLife and I use the abbreviation "POS" differently :) It took me a little while to figure that out, but the headline reads better my way. POS = "piece of s**t"
