Apple Halting Production of the 27-inch iMac?
MacNN tells us that Apple has stopped production of the 27-inch iMac until the display problem is fixed.
Apple's largest iMac line has been plagued with screen flickering issues since it was launched back in November of 2009. MacNN believes that Apple has halted production of these computers in order to fix the problem.
On the online Apple Store today, shipping times were changed to reflect this possibility. Currently, orders of 27-inch iMacs are delayed for 3 weeks.
Apple has already provided a fix for in the form of an update, which helped a few failing iMacs, but now the company is thought to be working on yet another fix that will hopefully remedy the problem for good.

Probably due to using the ATI graphics in this round of iMacs, had they used nVidia, they probably wouldn't have had this problem in the first place...
