Mobile advertising network Millennial Media reports that their data suggests Apple OS usage has gone up to 36 percent in June, even though it fell 33 percent the month prior.
The company also says that iPad requests are increasing, and grew to 206 percent in Jun--almost more than half as many users from May. Apple's OS is the leading mobile operating system in Millennial's network, and these high numbers could be attributed to the fact that the iPhone 4 came out in June and plenty of AT&T subscribers switched over when the company granted them early upgrades.
Additionally, Android users might feel relieved to know that requests for Google's mobile operating system rose up to 23 percent month over month, and are now at 439% growth. Of course, this could also be attributed to the fact that so many new Android handsets have been released in the last few months.
