(Screenshot courtesy of AppleInsider)If you believe the veritable swirl of rumors leading up to today (as well as the fact that
Apple’s web store is currently down as we write this), there will be new MacBook Pros unleashed today. But we might have the specs already!
AppleInsider is reporting on a tip -- the traditional “person familiar with the matter” -- that Apple will indeed update their MacBook Pro line today, including Intel’s Core processors, available in speeds ranging from 2.4GHz to 2.66GHz.
According to their tip, each model will ship with 4GB of RAM, with the 13-inch model available at both 2.4GHz and 2.66GHz, a 15-inch model which also adds 2.55GHz and a single 2.53GHz 17-inch model.
The new line may also include three options for the display, including Glossy, High Resolution Glossy and High Resolution Glossy with Anti-Glare (although this seems a bit unlike Apple to offer so many choices, if you ask us). At least some models are expected to support 512GB of Solid State Drive (aka SSD flash) storage.
You can check out the part numbers and specs for the new models above, which have supposedly been pulled from a “certain” inventory management system.
